Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a solid background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. Currently serving at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris is involved in designing hardware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior roles include firmware engineering at SMART Technologies, where Chris contributed to firmware and diagnostic tools, electronic contracting at Science Alberta Foundation, and electronics engineering at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for the forestry industry. Academic qualifications include an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology. Additionally, Chris has experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting electronic circuits courses.
