Alexander Asomba has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Alexander began their career in 2014 as a Growth Hacker for Automatic Pallet, where they helped businesses in Africa grow using digital marketing strategies and emerging technologies. Alexander co-founded the company and successfully grew revenue by 250% year-on-year. Alexander also gained experience in front-end web development at Coven Works, where they worked on projects such as developing the interface for Medflit.

In 2016, Asomba joined Digify Africa as a Lead Digital Marketing Trainer & Learning Innovation Specialist. Alexander trained graduates from various disciplines, enabling them to become digital marketing experts. Alexander also served as a Digital Skills for Africa Lead Trainer, where they trained on both digital marketing and soft skills development.

Asomba's work experience also includes roles at SheLeadsAfrica.Org, where they trained women-owned business owners on using digital tools to boost their businesses, and at StartupYou (by Automatic Pallet), where they supported small and medium businesses in building an online presence and developing growth strategies.

Alexander later transitioned to Teleperformance, where they served as an Operations Manager - Assistant Contact Centre Manager. Alexander led cross-functional teams and achieved significant performance improvements, including an 80% business growth despite pandemic-related challenges.

Asomba's most recent role was at Meta (formerly known as Facebook), where they had two positions. First, as a Facebook Certified Blueprint Lead Trainer, they trained individuals on using the platform for effective digital marketing. Then, as a Sales Operations Manager - Sub Saharan Africa, EMEA, they were responsible for driving sales growth and improving digital marketing operations in Sub-Saharan Africa.

In 2021, Asomba joined Digify Africa again, this time as an Innovation Analyst. Alexander led the conceptualization, design, and implementation of the organization's digital transformation efforts, including the development of a WhatsApp bot for virtual instructor-led trainings and the creation of digital skills and digital marketing learning curriculum.

Currently, Asomba is serving as a Product Operations Executive at Lenco (YC W22), where they bring their expertise in product and revenue operations to contribute to the company's success.
