Brijesh Patil

Brijesh Patil has extensive work experience in risk management and analytics in the financial services industry. Brijesh currently works as the Vice President and Head of Consumer Credit Risk at LendingClub since April 2022. Previously, Brijesh held various leadership roles at HSBC, including Senior Vice President of Retail Risk Analytics and Vice President of Retail Risk Analytics. In these roles, they managed risk analytics teams and provided accurate risk positions for retail portfolios ranging from $120 billion to $400 billion in receivables. Brijesh also played a key role in the turnaround of the Americas Retail Lending business and led credit risk functions for multiple markets. Before joining HSBC, Brijesh worked as the Vice President of Retail Risk Analytics at PNC Mortgage, where they oversaw risk management for the mortgage business. Prior to that, they were part of the founding team and Vice President of Credit Policy and Risk at HSBC, leading the Credit Risk Global Center of Excellence. Brijesh began their career as a Consultant in the public sector and financial services domain at Tata Infotech/Tata Consultancy Services.

Brijesh Patil completed a Stanford Lead Professional Certificate from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business in 2021-2022. Prior to that, they earned an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Additionally, they hold a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College. Brijesh'ssecondary education was obtained from St Ursula's High School.
