Cliff Pedersen

Cliff Pedersen is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in leading compliance functions within various financial institutions. Currently serving as SVP & Chief Compliance Officer at LendingClub since February 2020, Cliff manages comprehensive compliance strategies, focusing on consumer protection and anti-financial crime measures. Previously, Cliff held similar roles at Medallion Bank, OneMain Financial, and GE Capital, where responsibilities included overseeing compliance programs and ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations. Additional experience includes roles at Ally, American Express, and First Security Bank, along with significant expertise gained as a National Bank Examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Cliff holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Utah and an A.S. in Medical Technology from The George Washington University.
