Michael Vavakis

Michael Vavakis is currently the Chief Operating Officer, Europe at LendLease. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions at Hewlett Packard, including Vice-President, Director Human Resource Operations, and Vice-President Workforce Development. Michael also served as a member of the Asia-Pacific Leadership team and Global Executive Human Resources Council.

Throughout their career, Michael has been responsible for leading and implementing regional and global HR strategies. Michael has also overseen HR services in multiple countries across the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, they have managed annual budgets of over $20M.

Michael Vavakis has extensive experience in the field of human resources and is a highly respected leader in the industry. Michael is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successful implementation of HR initiatives. Michael is a strong advocate for the importance of workforce development and is committed to making a positive impact on the organizations they work with.

Michael Vavakis has a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Relations and Affairs from UNSW, a Master of Laws (LLM) in Dispute Resolution from UNSW, a Bachelor in Economics & Commerce with a focus on Accounting, Economics from Melbourne University, and an Executive MBA in Economics from Wharton University.

Michael Vavakis reports to Neil Martin, Chief Executive Officer, Europe. Michael Vavakis works with Paul King - Managing Director Sustainability & Social Impact, Europe, Tom Mackellar - Chief Financial Officer, Europe, and Simon Gorski - Managing Director, Construction, Europe.
