Kim Nguyen

Kim Nguyen has a solid background in engineering and manufacturing. Kim'smost recent work experience is with LensGen, Inc. where they started as an Associate Engineer in May 2018 and later transitioned to a role as a Manufacturing Engineer in January 2023. As an Associate Engineer, Kim oversaw R&D to pre-production in the manufacturing contract site, and was responsible for problem-solving, identifying root causes, and managing day-to-day operations. Kim led weekly meetings to assign tasks and provide training to technicians, ensuring production targets were met.

Prior to their role at LensGen, Inc., Kim worked at Intuitive Surgical as a Quality Control Technician from September 2017 to May 2018. Kim also gained experience as an Engineering Technician at Second Source Medical LLC from July 2015 to August 2017.

Kim Nguyen is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from San Jose State University, which is expected to be completed in 2022. Alongside their major, Kim is also pursuing a minor in Business Management at the same university. Before attending San Jose State University, Kim earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Foothill College in 2018. Prior to their college education, Kim completed their high school education and obtained their High School Diploma from Milpitas High School. Additionally, Kim has obtained several certifications in project management from Google, including "Project Execution: Running the Project," "Project Planning: Putting It All Together," "Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project," and "Foundations of Project Management." The certifications were all obtained between November 2022 and February 2023.
