Carsten Ravn

Carsten Ravn is an experienced professional in pharmaceutical technology and formulation development, currently serving as Principal Scientist at LEO Pharma since May 2018, after holding the position of Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes Senior Development Scientist at Chr. Hansen A/S (December 2015 - April 2018) and Senior Pharmaceutical Scientist at Lundbeck (2009 - 2015), where focus was on drug delivery strategies for oral solid dosage forms. Carsten Ravn completed an Industrial PhD at Novo Nordisk and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen (2005 - 2009), specializing in near-infrared chemical imaging for formulation development. Recent positions include Research Scientist in formulation development at Novo Nordisk A/S (2001 - 2005) and Quality Coordinator at Ferrosan A/S (1998 - 2001). Carsten Ravn's academic background includes a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology (2005 - 2008) and an MSc in Pharmacy (1991 - 1998), both from the University of Copenhagen.
