Scott Milke has a diverse work experience in the construction and development industry. Scott began their career as a Project Manager at J. Raymond Construction Corporation, where they quickly progressed to overseeing various projects throughout Florida. Milke then held the position of Vice President and Partner at Covenant Structures, Inc., where they managed all operations and business management responsibilities for a concrete and masonry shell contractor.
Afterward, Milke worked as the Preconstruction and Project Procurement Manager at Wild Building Contractors, Inc., where they handled pre-construction duties such as project feasibility review and bid document evaluation. Scott also managed project budgets and coordinated subcontractor and vendor agreements.
Milke then joined Ram Realty Advisors as a Project Manager, responsible for managing development projects. Scott oversaw commercial property tenant coordination and acquisitions due diligence procedures.
Currently, Milke is the Vice President at Leon Capital Group, where they serve as the development lead for the Triangle region of North Carolina. Scott is responsible for the execution of multifamily and retail development projects. Their notable accomplishment includes completing the Trilogy Cary project, a $51 million, 205-unit Class-A multifamily development.
Scott Milke has a solid education background and various certifications. Scott obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance and Strategy from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida, which they completed between 1997 and 2001.
In addition to their formal education, Scott has also obtained several certifications. Scott has a certification in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment from the MIT School of Architecture and Planning, which they received in October 2019. Scott is also a Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) obtained from the American Institute of Constructors (AIC) in November 2015. Scott holds the LEED AP BD+C certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, obtained in September 2015. Furthermore, they hold a certification as a Certified General Contractor (Unlimited) from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, obtained in December 2008. Lastly, Scott is a member of the Sigma Lambda Chi International (SLC) - International Construction Honor Society, Epsilon Chapter, with their membership dating back to April 2000.
