Anitra Thomas

Anitra Thomas has extensive experience in employee engagement, performance management, and program coordination. Currently serving as the Employee Engagement & Performance Manager and previously as Employee Development Coordinator at Leon County Government since December 2018, Anitra focuses on enhancing workplace culture and employee growth. Prior to this, Anitra managed grant and contract activities as the AmeriCorps Program Manager at Volunteer Florida from April to December 2018, overseeing a portfolio of AmeriCorps programs. Anitra also contributed to Volunteer Florida's Governor's Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service as the Grants and Training Coordinator from July 2007 to April 2018, and began a career in finance as a Mortgage Loan Closer I at Fidelity Federal Bank & Trust from October 2000 to June 2007.
