Daniel Corley is a Principal Software Engineer at Leonardo DRS since March 2020, specializing in defense-related embedded hardware and software design. Prior to this role, Daniel served as a Staff Scientist at ADTRAN from June 1998 to January 2020, focusing on embedded systems telemetry, optical communications, and physical-layer fiber optic technologies. Daniel also held the position of Design Engineer during this time, working on embedded hardware design, real-time software in C and C++, and various telecommunication systems. Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as a Student Programmer at the University of Missouri - Rolla, where programs were developed to demonstrate engineering principles. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
