Risa Morimoto

Risa Morimoto has accumulated extensive work experience in various roles and industries throughout their career. Risa is currently the Founder and CEO of Modern Aging, a company that aims to redefine how we approach aging and caregiving. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of House Hunters Intl at Leopard USA and as a Producer/Director at Edgewood Pictures. Risa also served as a Senior/Executive Producer at Sony for a brief period. Risa has experience in directing projects for Scott Brothers Entertainment and jv Productions, and they worked as the Executive Director of Asian CineVision. Early in their career, they held the position of Associate Director at New York University's Asian/Pacific/American Studies Program and Institute.

Risa Morimoto completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in East Asian Studies at Bucknell University, a four-year program from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Film and Education at New York University, which was a four-year program from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Risa obtained a certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in November 2020.
