Kevin C. Downs

Kevin C. Downs is a seasoned photojournalist and freelance photographer with extensive experience spanning several prestigious publications. Since November 2018, Kevin has contributed to the New York Post and The New York Times. A long-standing freelance career commenced in January 1980, which includes work for various magazines such as The Mail on Sunday, The National, Esquire (UK), and Time Out. Kevin's photography work focuses on documentary and photojournalism, with notable projects capturing life in Camden, NJ, and the diversity of Jackson Heights. Educational qualifications include a BFA in Fine Arts from Pratt Institute, documentary photography training from Missouri Photo Workshop, and studies in photography at multiple institutions.
