Aircraft Industries, a.s. is the only Czech maker of transport aircraft with a long-standing tradition of aircraft manufacture, building on the success of business LET Kunovice. The exciting story of LET begins in 1936. Since then we have produced more than 8 000 aircraft of various types (L200 Morava, Blanik glider etc.). The company currently employs around 1 000 people, and has a turnover of more than 2 billion CZK. Our core business is: development, manufacture, and sales of the turboprop L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft, maitenance and sales of spare part for L-410 series. The all-metal, high-wing turboprop commuter, in its standard version, is intended for short-haul transport of up to 19 passengers and cargo from remote and undeveloped areas to major cities. Depending on its equipment, it is suitable for various purposes. Since 1969, more than 1,200 aircraft in the L-410 series have been produced. The L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft is supplied nearly all over the world, mainly to Russia, Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe.
