Staff Software Engineer - Infrastructure

We are on a mission to revolutionize the customer sales experience for businesses. We are innovating in speech AI, NLP and information retrieval systems to bring customers and businesses closer to one another. As one of the critical members of the Level team your work will be new and of the highest impact to shape the future of AI in businesses. You will directly work with a small experienced team of technologists to identify and solve a new set of problems. The team has experience from Amazon Alexa, Facebook, Google and other leading AI organizations. You will have the freedom to pave a new path to achieve our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Challenge the status quo within the company and the industry to drive innovation for our customers.
• Scale Level AI’s backend, machine learning infrastructure, and platform by anticipating future needs and trends.
• Take ownership of critical components of Level AI’s stack, services, and platform.
• Drive engineering and operational excellence across the team.
• Lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of complex features.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.A minimum of  6  years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency with  large scale distributed systems, service oriented architecture, and relational as well as databases
• Demonstrated experience in scaling complex systems, with the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make informed decisions.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, particularly in designing and building scalable systems.
• In-depth understanding of core computer science areas, including Algorithms, Data Structures, and Object-Oriented Design.
