Mike Lee

Mike Lee has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mike began their career at Yodlee as a Core Tools Programmer in 2000. Mike then moved to Industrial Light & Magic as a Production Software Developer in 2001. In 2002, they joined DreamWorks Animation as a Lighting Technical Director.

At PDI/DreamWorks, Mike held several positions including Supervising Technical Director, FX Technical Director, and Crowd Supervisor. Mike was responsible for managing technical directors, supporting artists, and making technical choices for projects like Shrek The Halls, Megamind, and Dragons: Gift of the Night Fury.

In 2013, Mike joined Google as a Developer and eventually became the Tech Lead for Experience Engineering. Mike led the development of interactive applications for the Google Experience Centers and managed the software platform used for interactive exhibits.

Since 2017, Mike has been working at Osmo, where they have held multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead, Staff Engineer/Project Manager, and Producer. In their most recent role as Director Of Engineering, Mike led the Product Infrastructure team, provided high-level strategy and estimations, and mentored a team of around 80 people across three continents.

As of 2022, Mike is currently the Director of Engineering at Level Ex.

Mike Lee attended The Roxbury Latin School from 1989 to 1995. Mike then went on to Stanford University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Mike continued their education at Stanford University from 1999 to 2001 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
