Kristian Lande

Senior Director, European Energy Analytics at LevelTen Energy

Kristian Lande has extensive experience in the energy trading industry, with a focus on European power and gas markets. Kristian is currently a Senior Director of European Energy Analytics at LevelTen Energy. Before that, they co-founded AirVeraCity in 2018. From 2014 to 2017, Lande served as the Head of European Power & Gas Trading at Windy Bay Power Sarl. Prior to that, they held positions as the Head of Paper Gas Trading at Koch Supply & Trading, the Head of Trading for Global Emissions, European Power, and Gas at Cargill, and as a Senior European Energy Trader at Louis Dreyfus Energy Services L.P. Lande also worked as a European Power Trader at Barclays Investment Bank and as a Continental Power Trader at Enron, where they held various roles including structuring and fundamental analysis.

Kristian Lande completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a major in Finance and a concentration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. Kristian attended the university from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications such as "Open Data: Unleashing Hidden Value" and "Smarter Cities: Using Data to Drive Urban Innovation" from LinkedIn. Kristian also holds certifications from DataCamp, including "DataCamp: Python Analyst" and "DataCamp: Python Programmer." Moreover, Kristian has an "Investment Adviser" certification from the Financial Conduct Authority.
