Chris Melcer

Chris Melcer has over 28 years of professional experience in engineering and technical account management. In 2020, they began working at LEVITRONIX as a Technical Account Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Ichor Systems, Inc. from 2008 to 2020 in various roles, including Vice President of Engineering, Member of Technical Staff, V.P. of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Senior Engineering Manager. From 2000 to 2008, they worked at Applied Materials as a MTS, responsible for fluid systems development in CMP and pressure measurement and control. From 1997 to 2000, they worked at Strasbaugh as a Fluid Systems Engineer, responsible for fluid delivery systems on next generation CMP systems. Finally, from 1992 to 1997, they worked at Water Specialties as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, responsible for Fire Service Flow Meter development and test stand optimization.

Chris Melcer attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
