Application Manager at Levitronix

Matthew Rodriguez has a diverse work experience starting with an internship at ABC Home Repair, LLC as a Handyman in 2008. Later, they interned at the MIT Media Lab Design Ecology Group in 2009. During this time, they worked as a UROP Intern, where they developed a test bench for a series elastic clutch and designed a walking robot based on a mechanical model of the human leg. In the same year, they also interned at the MIT Media Lab Biomechatronics Group as a UROP Intern, focusing on developing an artificial gastrocnemius for above-knee amputees.

Matthew then joined Levitronix in 2011 as an Application Engineer, providing support to customers in selecting the appropriate system, offering quotes, and helping with the setup. Matthew held this role until 2014 when they transitioned to become a Technical Account Manager at the same company. In this position, Matthew acted as a liaison for the customers throughout the entire application process, including engineering, selling, and technical support.

Currently, they are serving as the Application Manager at Levitronix, a position they have held since June 2019.

Matthew Rodriguez completed their high school education from Middlesex County Academy from 2003 to 2007, earning a Science degree and high school diploma with a focus on Mathematics and Engineering Technologies. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Matthew also obtained additional certifications. Matthew completed a course in Bioprocessing and Unit Operations at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in June 2018. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Consultative Sales from Wilson Learning, although the specific dates of completion are not available.
