Jimmy Kraus has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Jimmy started their career in 1994 as a Manager at Chili's Grill & Bar and worked there until 1996. Jimmy then joined Rare Hospitality as a Managing Partner, where they remained for almost a decade, from 1995 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Grand Lux Cafe and held the position of Sr. Manager until 2006.

In 2007, they became the General Manager at Abokado, where they worked until 2008. Jimmy then returned to Grand Lux Cafe in 2009 as a Senior Manager and stayed there until 2011.

Since 2011, Jimmy has been associated with Levy Restaurants. Jimmy started as the General Manager at Fulton's Crab House and worked there until 2016. During this time, they also took on the role of General Manager at Paddlefish from 2016 to 2021. From 2017 to 2021, they were the Director of Special Projects for the East Division. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Director of Operations and is set to become the Director of Operations in January 2022.

Jimmy Kraus attended Florida International University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management. Prior to attending college, they completed their high school education at Miami Beach High. No specific years were provided for their time at Miami Beach High.
