Sydney Stewart has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2005, they were a Store Manager/Franchise Human Resources at Subway. In 2010, they became a Teller at First Harrison Bank. In 2012, they were a Credit & Collections Analyst at GE Intelligent Platforms. In 2013, they became an Employment & Recruiting Specialist at Express Employment Professionals. In 2014, they were a Recruiting & Benefits Coordinator at Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana. In 2016, they were a Human Resources Manager at Lewis Bakeries and a Corporate Human Resources at Berry Global, Inc. In 2018, they were a Human Resources Director at Expressway Auto Group and a Corporate Human Resources at MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. Most recently, they have been a Vice President Human Resources and an Assistant Vice President Human Resources at Lewis Bakeries since 2019.

Sydney Stewart earned their Associate's degree in Business Administration from Ivy Tech Community College between 2008 and 2011. Sydney then went on to obtain their Bachelor of Science - BS in Human Resources Leadership from Sullivan University between 2013 and 2016.
