Greta Binford is a Professor of Biology at Lewis & Clark College, where since January 2003, responsibilities have included teaching courses in Genetics, Evolution, Invertebrate Biology, and Phylogenetic Biology, as well as mentoring undergraduate research related to spider biogeography and venom evolution. Previously, Greta Binford served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Arizona from January 2000 to December 2002, focusing on the molecular evolution of venoms in brown recluse spiders and their relatives. Greta Binford obtained a Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona (1993-2000), a M.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Utah (1991-1993), and an undergraduate degree from Miami University (1987-1990).
