Maya Terhune

Maya Terhune currently serves as an Evaluation Specialist at Lexia Learning since January 2024. Previously, Maya worked as a Research Associate at ExpandED Schools from August 2022 to February 2024 and held a position as a Research Intern at McLean Hospital, where research focused on family engagement assessment and training practices. Maya's earlier experience includes roles as an Analyst and Assistant Analyst for the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget, and a fellowship with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, analyzing public school performance trends. Additional internships at WNET New York Public Media, WGBH, and Steve & Kate's Camp further enhanced skills in production, education program development, and child engagement. Maya holds a Master of Education in Education Policy and Analysis from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Mathematics from Boston University.
