Jason McKinney

Jason McKinney has over 20 years of experience in auditing and internal audit management. Jason currently holds the position of General Auditor at Santee Cooper, where they started in October 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Internal Audit at Lexington Medical Center from January 2018. From 2000 to 2018, Jason worked as the Joint Venture Audit Director at Bon Secours Health System, specifically with RoperSaintFrancis Healthcare. Jason began their career as an Internal Auditor at SCANA in 1998, where they stayed until 1999.

Jason McKinney received their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business in 1993. Jason then went on to complete their MBA with a focus on Accounting, Hospital Administration (MUSC), and Finance at The Citadel from 2004 to 2007.
