Bruce Bjorge has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Bruce started their career as a firefighter at the Springfield MO Fire Department in 2001, where they also served as a Haz-Mat Team Leader and trained other firefighters. In 2008, they transitioned to EMR-Inc as a Division Manager, overseeing daily operations and conducting environmental inspections and emergency response. From 2009 to 2014, Bruce worked at the Western Taney County Fire Protection District as the Assistant Chief of Training, responsible for managing fire and EMS training programs and developing new curriculum. In 2014, they joined Lexipol as a Training Coordinator, focusing on the development and delivery of training bulletins and marketing fire service products. Bruce later advanced to Senior Account Executive and is currently the Director of Fire Policy Sales. Additionally, Bruce has been an Adjunct Instructor and Training Associate at the University of Missouri Fire & Rescue Training Institute since 2001, teaching various programs such as Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting and Haz-Mat.
Bruce Bjorge attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1988 to 1992, where they studied Fire Science and Technology. In 2012, they enrolled at Columbia Southern University to work towards a degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting. Additionally, from 2011 to 2013, they completed the Fire Officer Certificate Program at the University of Missouri Fire & Rescue Training Institute.
