James Panichi

James Panichi is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in regulatory affairs and EU policy. Currently serving as the Senior Editor for MLex Market Insight in Asia Pacific since June 2016, Panichi coordinates and edits coverage while also hosting a weekly podcast. Previous roles include Managing Editor positions in Australasia and Brussels, where oversight of substantial journalistic teams focused on EU regulatory risk was paramount. Panichi's early career included reporting for POLITICO and European Voice, as well as freelance journalism covering diverse political and policy matters. With a solid foundation in journalism from RMIT University and degrees in International Relations and Italian Language and Literature, Panichi's expertise spans multiple facets of media and regulatory reporting across various regions.
