John Hagewood

John Hagewood has extensive experience in software engineering, product architecture, and project management. John worked at VitalChek Network, Inc. from 2007, starting as a Sr. Software Engineer and eventually becoming the Director of Software Engineering. Prior to that, they were a Java Architect/Team Lead at Shop At Home TV, where they led a team in building Java-based solutions. From 2003 to 2006, they were a Sr. Product Architect at GXS, leading the design and implementation of a new product. Before that, they worked at HCA as a Sr. Consulting Engineer, designing and building J2EE components. John also has experience at GE Global eXchange Services as a Sr. Information Architect and at BMI as a Project Manager, Project Leader, and Systems Analyst.

John Hagewood attended Nashville State Technical Institute from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Business Data Processing. Later, from 1991 to 1994, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.
