Mark Myslin

Mark Myslin is an accomplished data science leader with extensive experience in leveraging advanced technologies such as NLP, generative AI, and knowledge graphs. Currently serving as Director of Data Science at LexisNexis, Mark oversees a team of over 20 data scientists and engineers, managing a global portfolio of products. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Data Science & Engineering and Principal Data Scientist at LexisNexis, as well as Data Scientist at Ravel Law, where Mark developed NLP systems for legal analytics. Mark has also contributed as a Senior NLP Consultant at EY, with technical roles at UC San Diego Health System and the San Diego Supercomputer Center, where notable research led to a finalist position for an Outstanding Research Article in Biosurveillance. Mark's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Computational Linguistics and Cognitive Science from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from UC Santa Barbara.
