Oscar Almstrup

Oscar Almstrup has over 7 years of professional experience. From 2015 to February 2022, they were the Co-Founder & Co-CEO of LegalHero, a legal service provider leveraging technology to make the client experience easier, more effective and transparent. In February 2022, LegalHero was acquired by Lexly Group (SE), and Oscar was appointed as the Country Head. In this role, they were responsible for executing the current strategic business plan, ensuring performance, strategy, and alignment of Lexly's customer-facing applications to drive improved customer experience, and managing the local partnership sales and performance marketing teams to drive business growth across all customer segments. In 2019, Oscar also served as a Blogger om LegalTech for Karnov Group.

Oscar Almstrup has an extensive education history. Oscar began their studies in 2005, earning their High School Diploma from Sankt Annæ Gymnasium in 2008. Oscar then attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, earning their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in 2012. In the same year, they also attended Copenhagen Business School for an Elective in International Business Law. Oscar then attended Duke University School of Law for International Financial Transactions & International Copyright in 2011, and The University of Hong Kong for the same subject in 2011. Oscar then returned to Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen to earn their Cand. jur. Master of Laws (LLM) in IP & Business Law in 2016. Lastly, they attended University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco) for their Master of Laws (LLM) in Science, Technology & Intellectual Property in 2015.
