Brent Lambert is senior vice president, chief legal and compliance officer, and secretary of Lexmark International, Inc. He is responsible for the company’s worldwide legal operations as well compliance, internal audit, government affairs and security.
From November 2018 to May 2019, Lambert served on an executive management committee that led Lexmark during the search for a new chief executive officer.
Prior to assuming his role as chief legal officer in July 2017, Lambert served as the company’s chief intellectual property counsel, where he was responsible for managing the company’s intellectual property portfolio and strategy. He joined the company in 1998.
Before joining Lexmark, Lambert worked in private practice at the law firm of Moore & Van Allen PLLC in Durham, North Carolina.
Lambert holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Central Florida and a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law.
