Lauren Pawley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lauren most recently worked as a Commissioning & Qualification Manager in Clinical Operations at Leyden Labs since February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Quality Engineer at Organon, specifically in the IPT NuvaRing department, from April 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining Organon, Lauren worked at Eli Lilly and Company as a Commissioning & Qualification Engineer from January 2020 to April 2022. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the INFANT Centre, University College Cork from October 2018 to October 2019. During their time there, Lauren established working protocols and conducted various protein assays while also presenting their research findings at the HBPP Conference in Amsterdam.

Prior to their work at the INFANT Centre, Lauren pursued an MSc by Research at the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience, University College Cork from October 2017 to August 2018. Lauren'sresearch focused on chronic inflammatory and stress-induced changes in hippocampal neurogenesis and resulted in publications as both a first author and co-author.

Lauren also gained industry experience as an MES Intern at MSD from May 2017 to October 2017. In this role, they provided support to the IPT department during a site upgrade and assisted with the review and update of documents. Prior to MSD, Lauren worked as a Summer Research Student at the APC Microbiome Institute in 2016, where they were involved in cryostat sectioning, protocol design, and lab data organization.

To kickstart their career, Lauren had an internship at Merck in 2015, specifically in the IPT department.

Overall, Lauren Pawley has a strong background in commissioning and qualification, quality engineering, research, and industry support roles.

Lauren Pawley began their education journey in 2008 at St Leo's College in Carlow, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate in 2013. Lauren then pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Neuroscience at University College Cork from 2013 to 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, Lauren continued their education at the same institution, completing a Master of Science in Medicine and Health with a specialization in Neuroscience from 2017 to 2018. In 2022, they attended Atlantic Technological University and acquired a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma & Operational Excellence.
