Philippe Mondon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Philippe also worked as a Research associate/Ph.D. student at the University of Joseph Fourier, Grenoble from 1993 to 1996, studying genetic polymorphism and virulence in A. fumigatus. Moreover, they worked as a Research associate at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, University of Aarhus, Denmark in 1992, where they conducted research on nuclear proteins and plant gene expression.

Philippe Mondon completed their education starting with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Montpellier from 1988 to 1992. Philippe then pursued a Master's degree in Parasitology, Mycology, and Molecular Biology at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology from 1992 to 1993. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from the Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) between 1993 and 1996.
