Philippe Mondon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Philippe served as the Director of Project Management Office at LFB from October 2020, responsible for overseeing project management initiatives. Prior to that, they were the Director of R&D Project Portfolio at LFB from October 2019 to October 2020, where they managed the development strategy of the company's drug portfolio in the field of hemostasis and immunology.
From December 2018 to September 2019, Philippe worked as a Project Director at LFB, managing several research and development programs in different therapeutic areas. Philippe evaluated new projects, coordinated multi-disciplinary activities, and developed a network of international medical experts.
Before joining LFB, Philippe held key positions at BIOMUNEX PHARMACEUTICALS and Millegen. At BIOMUNEX PHARMACEUTICALS, they served as an Interim CSO for a six-month period in 2014. At Millegen, they worked as the Chief Scientific Officer from 2011 to 2013, where they led the R&D organization and was responsible for research innovation, R&D strategy, and business development. Philippe also served as the Chief Technical Officer and head of research at Millegen from 2000 to 2011, where they managed antibody engineering and genomic analysis laboratories.
Philippe's early work experience includes being a Post-Doctoral research fellow at NIAID, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda (USA) from 1997 to 2000, where they conducted research on antimycotic resistance. Philippe also worked as a Research associate/Ph.D. student at the University of Joseph Fourier, Grenoble from 1993 to 1996, studying genetic polymorphism and virulence in A. fumigatus. Moreover, they worked as a Research associate at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, University of Aarhus, Denmark in 1992, where they conducted research on nuclear proteins and plant gene expression.
Philippe Mondon completed their education starting with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Montpellier from 1988 to 1992. Philippe then pursued a Master's degree in Parasitology, Mycology, and Molecular Biology at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology from 1992 to 1993. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from the Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) between 1993 and 1996.
