Susmita Ghose

Susmita Ghose has a strong background in data science and research. Susmita worked as the Head of Data Science at Alphonso Inc., where they defined and led the data science team. Susmita also worked as the Data Science Lead at Rasa Networks, which was later acquired by Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. Prior to that, they were the lead researcher and developer of the Oracle Crystal Ball R&D team at Oracle. Susmita started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, where they focused on software reliability prediction models. Additionally, they have experience as a Software Engineer at Microsoft.

Susmita Ghose pursued their education in a sequential manner. Susmita started their academic journey in 1996 by enrolling at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Susmita completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Industrial Engineering in 2000. Following this, they joined the University of Maryland in 2001 and pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Software Reliability Engineering, which they completed in 2006.
