Kagiso Maila

Kagiso Maila is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector and advocacy for LGBTIQA+ rights. Currently serving as the Region 7 LGBTIQA+ Representative at LGBT since September 2020, Kagiso also founded Mmaponye Le Mahlako in May 2017, focusing on green tech energy solutions. Previously, Kagiso held the position of Executive Director at Mmaponye Global Energy Solution from August 2017 to November 2022 and worked briefly as the Chief Liaison Officer at Ayamakusela Construction in early 2017. Kagiso’s educational background includes a certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship Development from Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership and two certificates in Bioentrepreneurship from CoachLab@Hub and Coachlab, both completed in 2017.
