Pbiol Julia Shonfield

Julia Shonfield, PhD PBiol, is a Terrestrial Ecologist at LGL Limited since October 2018, specializing in conservation and monitoring of at-risk species through various ecological surveys and data analysis. Previous experience includes roles as a Field Course Instructor at the University of Alberta, a Wildlife Biologist for the City of Edmonton, and a researcher focusing on the impact of industrial noise on owls during their PhD at the University of Alberta. Additional positions as a Wildlife Biologist at Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd, Research Assistant at the University of Guelph, and Remote Terrestrial Field Technician at the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute contribute to a diverse background in wildlife ecology and research. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Ecology from the University of Alberta, a Master of Science in Behavioural Ecology from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from McGill University, supplemented by a semester abroad in Biology at The University of Queensland.
