Belinda Gonzalez

Belinda Gonzalez, BA, CCP, GRP has a range of experience in human resources and employee engagement. Belinda is currently serving as the Director of HR & Employee Experience at Li-Cycle. Prior to this, Belinda held the position of Regional HR Director, Americas at Kinross Gold Corporation. Belinda also worked at Yamana Gold Inc. as the Manager of People and Culture and Manager of Total Rewards. Before that, they gained experience at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) as the Manager of HR Core Services and Senior Compensation Specialist. Belinda's career started at Citigroup Dominican Republic, where they held various roles including Corporate Service Manager, Compensation & Benefits Analyst, and Human Resources Generalist. Belinda also worked at Scotiabank as a Compensation Consultant and at Shred-it as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist.

Belinda Gonzalez obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in 1997. Belinda then pursued a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo in 2002-2003. In 2007-2008, they completed a Certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College. In 2022-2023, Belinda pursued an Executive Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Leadership from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Additionally, they hold certifications including CCP and GRP from WORLD AT WORK LIMITED and a certification in Rotman Strategic Human Resource Leadership from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Belinda also obtained certifications in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging as well as Inclusive Mindset from LinkedIn. Belinda is also a certified SuccessFinder Practitioner from SuccessFinder.
