Malin Lindblom

Malin Lindblom has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Malin started their career as a Practical Nurse at Kårkulla samkommun, where they cared for mentally disabled individuals. Malin also worked as a Store Cashier at K-citymarket Oy while pursuing their high school studies. Malin then took on the role of Freelance Journalist at Åbo Underrättelser, writing articles for the Swedish language newspaper.

During their university studies, Malin worked part-time as a Personal Assistant to a stroke survivor at CITY WORK AB, providing practical help with everyday tasks. Malin also worked as a Freelance Translator at Lingosaur (Contatum Oy), translating texts in German, English, Swedish, and Finnish.

In 2020, Malin worked as a Personal Tutor in German, teaching high school students via video call. Malin also worked as an International Recruitment Consultant at Expatria Human Resources, conducting recruitment searches and interviews in multiple languages.

Malin then joined Timeline Oy as a Customer Negotiator, responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, primarily in the parcel and healthcare industries. Currently, they are employed at Liana Technologies as a Country Manager for the DACH market, focusing on customer satisfaction, sales, and driving new business opportunities in marketing automation and newsletter marketing.

From 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master's degree at Åbo Akademi University, with a focus on German, marketing, and international communication.

During the same period, from 2019 to 2020, Malin also pursued a double degree program, studying at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. There, they focused on InterculturAd and Werbung Interkulturell.

In 2018 and 2019, Malin participated in an Erasmus exchange program at the University of Bremen, where they worked towards their Bachelor's degree.

From 2016 to 2019, Malin completed their Bachelor's degree at Åbo Akademi University, with a focus on German, economy, and international communication.

Prior to university, Malin studied as a student at Pargas svenska gymnasium from 2012 to 2016.

In 2013 and 2014, Malin participated in an STS exchange program in Austria, studying at Mary Ward Privatgymnasium St. Pölten for 10 months.

In addition to their formal education, Malin has obtained various certifications. In May 2016, they received a Food Hygiene Card from the Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira. In October 2020, they obtained a certification as a Photographer for Website and Social Media from Wilmas Beads. In June 2020, Malin became a tutor for international exchange students at Åbo Akademi University. Finally, in January 2017, they obtained the title of Chairperson of the Board and Board Member from Eszett, Åbo Akademi.
