Flora Shao

Flora Shao has diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Flora is currently the HR Director of Rewards and Ops at LianBio since October 2021. Prior to this, Flora worked at United Technologies from 2018 to 2021, where they held the position of China C&B Head. In this role, they led a team and provided support to 9,000 employees across 8 companies. Flora was responsible for setting up a digital benefit platform, harmonizing benefit items, and driving process effectiveness through SIP digitalization. Flora also led projects in job grading review and supported various Asia projects.

Before their tenure at United Technologies, Flora worked as a Principal Consultant at IBM Kenexa, where they were involved in organizational design projects, performance system optimization, and incentive projects.

Additionally, Flora worked as a Reward Expert - Stock/Option at 虎虎金服 in 2017 and as a China Reward Manager at KONE from 2013 to 2017. In these roles, they successfully managed basic and innovative C&B projects, optimized processes, and aligned global policies with local practices. During their time at KONE, they received the Excellent Employee Award in 2014.

Flora's career began as a Consultant at Aon Hewitt from 2010 to 2013. Flora had the opportunity to work with key clients such as Sanofi, Pfizer, AZ, and Takeda, and gained expertise in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Overall, Flora Shao has demonstrated their expertise in rewards and operations, C&B, organizational design, and performance optimization throughout their varied work experiences.

Flora Shao's education history begins with their attending the East China University of Political Science and Law from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they pursued a Dual Bachelor's degree in Law and Labor & Social Security Science. In 2007, Flora Shao participated in an exchange program at Lund University, where they studied the Swedish Social Insurance System for one semester.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Flora Shao went on to pursue a postgraduate degree at The University of Hong Kong from 2014 to 2016. Flora specialized in Organization and Human Resource Management during this time.

In terms of additional certifications, Flora Shao obtained the Flame-Carrier Hi-Po Leadership Program certification in November 2020, although the institution that provided this certification is unknown.
