Thabo Tsotetsi

Thabo Tsotetsi has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Thabo started their career as a Finance Trainee at Roche in 1999, where they gained experience in invoice coding, fleet administration, and financial reporting. In 2002, they worked as a Fund Accountant at Alexander Forbes, where they handled tasks such as cashbook reconciliation and preparation of audit files.

Thabo then joined Investment Solutions (South Africa) as a Sales Support Broker Consultant in 2007, where they provided marketing material and information to financial planners. After that, they became a Financial Advisor at Liberty Group South Africa in 2008, focusing on offering sound financial planning and building sustainable client relationships.

In 2011, Thabo transitioned into a leadership role and served as a Team Manager at Liberty Group South Africa, overseeing a team of advisors. Thabo continued their career progression within the company and took on roles such as Compliance Specialist and Regulatory Implementation Specialist, ensuring adherence to compliance rules and conducting audits.

Thabo's extensive experience led him to Nedbank in 2014, where they worked as a Financial Planner, offering comprehensive financial solutions and conducting regular client reviews. Thabo then returned to Liberty Group South Africa in 2015 as an Employee Financial Advisor before taking on the position of Branch Manager, responsible for managing a Liberty Agency branch and developing growth strategies.

Currently, Thabo serves as the Head of Advice Centre at Liberty Group South Africa, leading and managing the center while ensuring production targets are met and assisting financial advisors with market penetration and strategy development.
