Mairead Carty

Mairead Carty has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, primarily with Liberty Insurance. Mairead started their career at Quinn Direct Insurance as a Graduate and later worked as an Underwriting Analyst and Assistant Manager. In 2013, they joined Liberty Insurance Limited as an Underwriting Manager before moving on to become the Head of Product and Underwriting (Personal Lines) at Liberty Insurance Ireland in 2016. Mairead then held the position of Head of Irish Motor at Liberty Insurance Limited for a brief period in 2019 before becoming the Head of Portuguese and Irish Motor at Liberty Seguros España. Currently, Mairead holds the position of Western European Markets Head of Motor Product for Direct and Partners at Liberty Insurance Ireland since 2022.

Mairead Carty received a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from UCD in the years 2002 to 2005.
