Amanda Clark has extensive work experience in the field of special education. Amanda started their career in 2003 as a Home Health Care Provider at Easter Seals, Inc. Amanda then moved on to the Newton Falls Exempted Village School District in 2008, where they worked as an Intervention Specialist/Special Education Teacher. In this role, they primarily worked with third-grade students and had leadership responsibilities related to the RTI and Title I process for grades K-5. Most recently, in 2022, Amanda joined Liberty Local Schools as the Director of Special Education.
Amanda Clark earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Education with licensure in Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Intensive (Intervention Specialist) from Youngstown State University, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. Afterwards, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, with a focus on Principal Licensure, at Western Governors University. Amanda is currently enrolled at Concordia University Chicago, where they began in 2015 and is expected to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration in 2024.
