Christopher A. Hunt

Chris Hunt is Chief Underwriting Officer of Specialty Surety for Liberty Mutual Surety. Reporting to the COO of Global Risks, Chris leads the development and execution of long-term strategy, risk tolerance and market appetite to support global surety business. He is responsible for product line leadership and underwriting of global risks, international reverse flow and domestic specialty business. Chris has nearly 30 years of surety experience, which he applies toward making highly complex underwriting decisions in collaboration with Liberty Mutual’s global business segments. He assumed his current role in 2017.
