Lia Morelli

Lia Morelli has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, primarily with Liberty Mutual. Lia joined Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2006 as part of the Actuarial Development Program. Lia progressed through various positions in Personal and Commercial Insurance actuarial, gaining experience in ratemaking, reserving, and pricing.

In their most recent role at Liberty Mutual Surety, Lia is currently serving as the Director, Actuary - Surety Reserving. Prior to this, they held several other roles within the company, including Actuarial Manager - Specialty Economics and Senior Actuary in different areas such as GRS Underwriting Strategy & Performance Predictive Analytics and Global Specialty Advanced Analytics.

Throughout their career, Lia has demonstrated strong expertise in profit assessments, planning, and analytics. Lia has also led predictive modeling engagements and implemented data-driven decision-making processes. Lia'swork has significantly contributed to improving loss ratios and profitability within the various business segments they have supported.

Lia Morelli earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics and Italian from Vassar College, completing their education between 2001 and 2005.
