Nigel Davenport

Nigel Davenport is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as General Counsel for Liberty International Insurance at Liberty Mutual Insurance since April 2024, Nigel is a key member of the executive management team overseeing the global insurance business outside North America. Previously, Nigel held roles as General Counsel for Liberty Specialty Markets and Liberty Mutual Re from January 2023 to April 2024, and as General Counsel at Liberty Specialty Markets from August 2009 to December 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing legal and corporate governance matters. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Group Head of Legal at First American and as a Solicitor at Eversheds, focusing on corporate, commercial, and regulatory legal issues within the insurance industry.
