Vijay Francis is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and innovation within the insurance and technology sectors. Currently serving as Director of Engineering for Innovation Enablement at Liberty Mutual Insurance, Vijay has successfully led the development of the Certainly insurance platform, architecting a microservice solution focused on scalability and extensibility while incorporating advanced technologies such as Kubernetes and gRPC. Previous roles at IBM included Advisory Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer, where Vijay led teams on significant projects like IBM Food Trust and IBM Watson Work Services, enhancing collaboration and automation processes.
