Brian Akumah

Brian Akumah has a strong background in software development, starting as a Software Developer Intern at SharpTop Company in 2017. Brian then interned at CloudCard as a Software Developer Intern in 2018 before joining Liberty University in 2019. At Liberty University, Brian held various roles, starting as a Student Account Representative before progressing to Software Developer I, Software Developer II, Senior Software Developer III, and finally Lead Software Developer IV. Throughout their time at Liberty University, Brian was responsible for developing and integrating multiple APIs and Micro Services, proposing architectural improvements, and implementing measures to ensure application reliability and functionality during database downtime. Brian also gained experience with 3rd party payment integration, transaction reporting, and resource consumption monitoring.

Brian Akumah attended Centreville High School from 2011 to 2015. Brian then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science at Liberty University from 2015 to 2020.
