Justin Claude

Justin Claude's work experience includes various leadership roles in the energy industry. Justin started their career in 2002 as an Engineer and progressively advanced to roles such as Senior Manager of Distribution Engineering, Senior Manager of System Operations, and Director of Asset Management & Operations at ATCO Electric. In these positions, they oversaw the safe and reliable operation of the electric grid, implemented improvements in design and planning, and led major corporate initiatives in areas like grid modernization and operational technology. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at ATCO Group as Director of Regulatory and Director of Work & Asset Management Program. In these roles, they were responsible for the regulatory strategy and program delivery across multiple utilities. Since 2019, they have been working as a Principal Consultant at Utility Advisory & Project Management, delivering advisory and project management consulting services to utility clients focused on power systems, asset management, operational technology, and regulatory leadership. Justin recently joined Liberty as the Senior Director of Supply & Control Operations. Overall, Justin Claude has extensive experience in leadership, project management, and consulting within the energy sector.

Justin Claude has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. Justin also has an Extension Certificate in Project Management from Mount Royal University. In addition to their degrees, Justin has a P.Eng certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, obtained in 2006, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in September 2008.
