Vishvesh Jhaveri

Vishvesh Jhaveri has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy and startup sectors. Vishvesh currently works as the Director of Business Development, Solar & Storage at Liberty, where they acquire and develops solar, solar+storage, and hybrid solar+wind+storage projects. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager, Business Development, Solar & Storage at Liberty.

Before joining Liberty, Vishvesh worked at AMS as the Director of Project Finance & Strategy, where they focused on financing solar-storage and energy storage projects. Vishvesh played a key role in closing a $200 million energy storage project finance deal. Vishvesh also worked as the Manager, Project Finance and Strategy at AMS.

Vishvesh's experience in the renewable energy industry extends to their time at SunEdison, where they were a Utility-Scale Project Finance Specialist. Vishvesh successfully raised over $1 billion in project finance for solar and wind projects. Vishvesh was also part of the deal team for the Regulus Solar Project, which received an award for North American Renewables Deal of the Year in 2015.

Additionally, Vishvesh worked at SilRay, Inc. as a Business Development Manager, leading the company's efforts in the residential solar PV sector. Vishvesh was responsible for securing contracts with residential customers and establishing partnerships with solar PV installers.

Before their work in the renewable energy industry, Vishvesh gained experience as the Managing Director of StartX, a Stanford Student Start-up Accelerator. Vishvesh was responsible for developing a network of business leaders as mentors and implementing marketing strategies to increase the organization's brand name. Vishvesh also worked at Twincity Sunlife Pvt. Ltd and Orion Racing India in managerial and marketing roles.

Vishvesh Jhaveri holds a Master's of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering with a concentration in Energy and Environment from Stanford University. Vishvesh also graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Prior to that, Vishvesh completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in General Studies at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. In 2013, they obtained a certification in CFA Level 1 from the CFA Institute.
