Hédia Tnani

Staff Scientist I, Data Science at Lieber Institute for Brain Development

Hédia Tnani has been working in the field of data science for several years. In 2013, they began their work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the International Rice Research Institute. In 2018, they moved to the Institut Pasteur de Tunis as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. In 2020, they Co-Founded and Co-Organized R-Ladies Tunis - R4Bioinfo leader and became a Teaching Assistant at the École Supérieure de la Statistique et de l'Analyse de l'Information. In 2021, they became a Visiting Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). In 2022, they will become a Staff Scientist I, Data Science at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development and a Member of the Bioconductor Community Advisory Board.

Hédia Tnani completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Genetics from the Universitat de Barcelona between 2007 and 2012. Hédia then went on to complete a First year of Master Degree in Big Data from the Université Centrale Privée d'Administration des Affaires et de Technologie in 2018-2019. Finally, they are currently completing a Second year Master degree in Data Science from the National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT), University of Tunis El Manar.
