Lisa Stanek

Lisa Stanek currently serves as Senior Vice President of R&D at Life Biosciences since March 2025. Prior to this role, Lisa was Vice President of Translational Sciences at Affinia Therapeutics from August 2020 to March 2025, contributing to the development of innovative AAV gene therapies. Lisa's extensive career includes positions at Sanofi, where responsibilities included Director, Senior Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist from February 2009 to August 2020, as well as a Scientist position at Genzyme from February 2008 to February 2009. Additionally, Lisa completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School from 2006 to 2008. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Emory University (1999-2005) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Union College (1995-1999).
