Logan Brown is a highly experienced scientist with a focus on gene editing and neurobiology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Life Edit Therapeutics since March 2021, Logan leads a therapeutic program utilizing a novel gene editing system for Huntington's disease. Prior roles at Life Edit Therapeutics include Scientist I and II within the Gene Editing Vector Core. Prior to this, Logan worked as a Research Analyst at Duke University School of Medicine, overseeing the production and purification of AAV and lentiviral vectors for gene therapy applications targeting neurodegenerative diseases. Logan's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where research involved neurophysiology and behavioral experiments on neuronal synchronization, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia College & State University.
